ConcejoAbierto.ec

ConcejoAbierto.ec is a digital platform that was presented in the framework of the First Forum of Open Data, Transparency and Technology in Ecuador. This platform seeks to channel the citizen monitoring of sessions of the Guayaquil Cantonal Council, through a device that allows a simple review of the topics covered in each session, the performance of each Councilor in terms of motions proposed and supported, assists and principal themes proposed. ConcejoAbierto.ec seeks to motivate citizen participation and follow-up to local public management. In order to carry out this purpose, the team that keeps the platform active analyzes and translates into more accessible forms of reading, publicly available minutes and published data based on the Organic Law of Transparency and Access to Public Information.
